MR21 strives to let as many people as possible discover the importance and heritage value of the Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral, an impressive monument built in 1939, when it became the first and only Acadian cathedral. Innovative, immersive and interactive technologies interpret the building’s emblematic architecture, which itself, through its eclectic design and details, gives a poignant account of Acadian history. We invite you to discover a building that is totally unique in North-America and to get to know Acadie from a new perspective, thanks to a museography and content that resound strongly in modern times.Innovation and integration are favored in order to preserve and value an architectural gem, relay information about the Acadian community that built it, and entertain visitors.
